Yup, used them with a tube tire on the FXLR. The guy at the Zoom-Splat counter said they use them all the time in their own bikes. You can just leave them in the tube when you mount up a new tire. I know, I know, someone is gonna get on here and tell everyone how you need to install a new tube with each new tire. Your decision.

Thanks for the reply. We have been having a heck of a time with my wife's Deluxe staying balanced. I'll give it a try.

I had them put in when I got new tires mounted about 6,000 miles ago - no problems with tire balance.

The biggest advantage - besides no wheel weights to come off - is that the tire maintains balace through it's life span, unlike weights which only balance the tire new.

I use them in both tube and tubeless tires on all my bikes and 4-wheel vehicles.

Work great, and far as I'm concerned 'balancing weights' are a thing of the past.

Been using them on my Ultra for the last 18,000 miles. I love them! Smooth as glass and no ugly weights stuck on the rim.

They're probably the same people that still get by just fine using outhouses, B&W TV's, 8-Track tapes, etc. Some folks just aren't interested in progress.

I used them in my last rear change. They seemed to work as advertised. I went back to the weights on this latest tire but, will probably lose the weight and add the beads at some point.
Really can't say I noticed any increase in tire mileage, as some of the literature claims. However, the balance part seems to be true.
