Default opinions on this plate holder/vertical plate laws

www.topdownpro.com What does anybody think of this plate holder, was searching state laws for vertical plates, which i never found for North Dakota.......? but thought i'd bring it to attention of my favorite forum! What do you fellas and Ladies think about this? Oh. and can anyone point me in the right direction of state laws for verticals? Lets hear it!

that plate holder kicks rear
quality all the way tempted to get the new swing arm mount one from them

wow, thats kinda cool, but why not just one or the other? if yr in a state (like me) were vertical is illegal then why even have the option?

still cool though, i would be interested to see how it holds up after a 30 or 40 K, make sure those swivles won't strip or loose there grip

pretty neat and i could see it being handy i have a vertical plate here in ohio but when i make it down to florida i could just flip it to lay horizontal. Not saying iam going to buy one but neat.

oops I've been running mine vertical on my Iron and didn't even think if there was a law against it. cop rode behind me at two in the morning last night. I guess its ok.

Or just make one using an old folding footpeg as the starting point ... be cheap , unique and made as nice as you want.

dude, have found that most cops don't give a flying donkeys a** as to how your plate is displayed as long as you are not violating any other local laws. when asked i was told to make sure it was well lit and visable from behind the bike with rider/passenger in place. most cops i've encountered apprieciated the effort put in your build and see you as less of a problem then some half wit cage driver with no tail lights and dragging exhaust. Build it. Ride it. Enjoy it. just 2 cents from the cheap seats

Pretty cool, but I can see it wearing out and banging around. Everything else on the bike needs locktite, why wouldn't this? lol

yeh, you would think it would eventually wear if you moved it a lot.
I like the footpeg idea as a mount
