Had a good ride yesterday.
High temp in Phoenix was supposed to be 115 degrees.
Went north on 89a through Wickenburg, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, then the Lake Mary road to Payson, Highway 260 to Show Low, Highway 60 through the Salt River Canyon to Globe, then Highway 188 to Roosevelt Lake and Highway 87 back to town. 630 miles in 12 hours. Temps in the low to mid 90's for most of the ride.
Got rained on twice and dried out in 10 minutes both times. Came back into town after dark at 8:30 pm and it was still 105 degrees.
Lots of twisties and sweepers, had a lot of fun.

sorry this is a day late, but just got home from an ABATE poker run, total of about 180 miles up towards Diamond Lake Oregon.
In all my years of riding, this was my first poker run. There must have been about 100 bikes total with about 16 in our little group that rode from stop to stop. Just a beautiful day for a ride, temps in the low 80's and it all ended with a BBQ.
I didn't win a thing but didn't really care, the ride was just too good to complain about anything.
