National = Yes

Local = You get out of it what you put into it.

It gets me 10% discount at some dealerships. I do like reading the magazines. PLUS, my bike insurance was cheaper with H.D. because I am a hog member than any other company.

I think it is worth it and will keep renewing.

I like the magazines. And the road service. Only used it once, but glad it was there. Upgrade to the unlimited miles plan, that way there's no out of pocket. And from what I've heard in the past, insist on a flatbed. Some wrecker company's show up with a sling. Not good.

I've been a H.O.G. member since 1993 and became a Life Member. Is it worth it? Well, like the Man said, you get out what you put in to it....just like everything else in Life. But I've made SO many friends by riding to State Rallies, National Rallies, done the Fly-n-Ride to Phoenix in February (where else can you ride in February without a freakin' parka), and had so much fun. It's been well worth the membership to me........even on the local scale.
THe magazines and annual touring handbook are just a bonus. I had some friends go on one of the Posse Tours and just couldn't get enough.........I've got to go on the next one.

I signed up at the local Chapter last week. Figured I'd give it a try.
Thought I might go on the L.O.H. rides...Hubby not sure cause he rides something else.

Guess I'll see what happens over the next year.

I had my bike for nearly 6 months before getting involved in the local chapter. It's great just to be riding your bike by yourself but riding with a bigger group of Harleys in formation is awesome fun. Talk about rolling thunder. I also like the way they organise the rides and safety etc. is a consederation.

The other good aspect is just meeting other folks with a common interest.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I really like the charity events that they do too. It's a great feeling to be helping others out with our interest in HD's.
