Pretty Pumped for Sturgis
Leaving July 30th and riding from Calgary to Winnipeg for a wedding, from there to Sioux Falls and then hook up with my Dad in Sturgis. After a few days of partying we're heading to Billings, then Kalispell. Riding the "Road to the Sun" through Glacier National Park before heading back home to Calgary. Should be around 4300 km (2672 mi) Can't wait!!

Wave like H*LL when you roll past Sisseton, SD on your way to Soo Foo. That's 'bout straight acrossed from me.
IF you happen to see Chuck and the Boys (Canadian Bond Slaves) 'round Winnie, they're GOOD peeps.
You'll be riding right thru my ol' stompin' grounds, in SoDak.
Hope you have a SOOOOOPER trip. Bet you didn't think you'd need a snowmobile suit to get to Sturgis, huh???? Bwahaha Been jus' a bit on the 'cool' side, here. Make sure you gots plenty of batts for the camera. Ride SAFE, and keep us posted!!! Where ya stayin' out there?? Or flyin' by the seat of your pants??? (I always like that best.)
We are still 'negotiating' Sturgis. Read that, $$$$$$$$$$$. Many years, it has happened the day before we wanted to head out.

Hey, Gump. Just pick up and go man. I'm in the same boat as you. Don't know if I can swing it financially this year but if I do go, I will decide at the last minute and ride up there with no reservations anywhere. That's also always been my best times. Free and not tied down to anywhere or anything ('cept my bike of course). The OP (mjsawatzky), dang that's a hard handle to spell for a country boy, is going to have a beautiful ride regardless of the weather.
