I know,I gotta go find some feathers now , I'll send a picture ,I promise....Hey maybe It will work,I don't suggest that anyone go out and purposely kill an owl though, you may get arrested !!!!!...Maybe chicken feathers will work......I said an owl because they are silent flyers !!!!!

I started wearing earplugs with my 3/4 helmet because of the headaches I used to get after 100 plus mile rides. There seems to be a certain tone my pipes give off that when matched with the wind really used to bother my ears...I highly recommend wearing ear plugs!!

The owl uses rough, irregular, soft feather edges to counteract turbulent air. I guess you could take a wire brush to your chin straps. To each his own.

I bought a tall clearview windshield for my road glide. I set my cruise control at 120km/hr (75mph), crank up the volume on my harmon kardon, and enjoy my ride. It's like sitting in my living room on the couch with the window open. There is a nice cool breeze but no buffeting, no fighting the wind, no loud wind noise. I wear a half helmet too, and like it because I can hear the stereo better.

My advice would be to turn around, take back your scoot to the dealer and trade up to a Road Glide. You will never look back.

Half helmets do sqwat if you take a spill. Ditch it. Since your starting over, why not start off with a full face. Unless you don't like your face.

Who gives a shat what other people think. Your a biker right?

If you cut the excess strap off be sure to leave enough for winter time riding so you have enough strap to fit over a face mask....you can burn the end with a lighter and seal up the strap once its cut.
