I saw this thread yesterday and thought to myself "well that never happens to me, why can't he just be careful" so today, sure as sh*t, splash!!! all over my tank back to my seat.... lol can't be too careful i guess

the same advice for peeing............hit the target. if you sprinkle when you tinkle.....be a sweetie and wipe the gas off. either that or sit down. but seriously, go slow and aim for the hole. and just like peeing, that last drop wont fall till you go to tuck it away. right on your tank and under the tank panel.

Like I've said before, how did the old timers make it this far without the internet, instructional videos, now the McCuff? Thirty years ago guys would grab a paper towel from the windshield cleaning station and hold it around the nozzle over the hole to prevent the splashes from coming up. It was free, disposable and it worked. Now we need a bright yellow plastic one that costs like $15-$20? My best advice is learn your bike, learn your tank, sure you might mess up once in a while but practice does make perfect. Like an earlier post said, "It's not rocket science, it's a Harley".
