I had to replace my rear tire and the dealer did not carry Meztzers. I now have a Metzler on the front and a dunlop on the rear. Is there any reason for concern due to different tread patterns? Just wondering.

 

I am running a Metzeler on the front and an AVON on the back...bike never handled better...I will replace the front with an AVON when needed..AVONs RULE!!!....:>)

 

I am running a Dunlop D402 on the front and a Dunlop Elite 3 on the rear. Totally different tread patterns. I just put the E3 on the rear and put about 200 miles on it and everything seems fine.

I don't think you have to worry.
