Wheel prices, WTF are they smoking.
You can buy car and truck aluminum wheels all day long for 150-300.
Why are motorcycle wheels so damn expensive $1000-2000 EACH?

Economy of scale applies to car/truck wheels, not motorcycle wheels.

I hear ya, dude! Don't make no sense to me either, but as long as the demand for them is there, at their prices, it's not going to get any better!

It is because the bikers are not the most educated consumers. We are suckers.

Only thing I can figure is a safety issue, same reason a rear tire for my RKC is $199.00 at the dealer. But even at that it's still crazy.

it all boils down to supply and demand, there are a lot more car's and truck's out there than motorcycles

It's rediculous! You can order some through Jireh Cycles, really nice wheels, for less than $500 each though. A lot of places charge $1000+ just because people will pay it...believe me if less people were buying their wheels they would have to start offering specials or lower their prices; or go out of business.
