I do. I've seen too many crashes where a helmet could have saved a life.

Depends. If I'm out riding with a bunch of friends not very often. If I'm commuting to work (not so much these days - work from home), or doing some solo distance riding (or going to a state that has a helmet law), then I wear one.

God, I could only dream of living in a no helmet state. How would I know what to do without the government telling me?

What he said and my wife is a doctor. So she's seen accidents while covering the emergency room that a guy could have limped away from. Instead he's relearning to walk due to head injuries.

Ms has a helmet law but like all the others there is no rating they must meet so I have seen guys wear football helmets and even batters helmets.
My self I wear a full face Snell rated due to the fact We race karts and it is required.
I was ask once why I had a helmet that cost $800.00 and my reply was how much is your head worth. Also as EMT/Fire fighter we see the crash before the Doctors or Coronor get to the scene.

I live in a helmet state, but live just a few miles from the border of a non helmet state. Now, I've worn a helmet all my life, mostly, but when I ride without one, it kinda feels funny. Plus, it keeps my head warm on a cool day

I rarely, if ever, wear one, and don't need to here in Colorado. I do have a full face for excessivly rainy or cold rides.

PS - The real question is, how many people wear a full face helmet while wearing shorts and a tank top with sneakers. Seen that about 5 times this week, from Harleys to croth rockets. Who needs feet arms or legs, as long as you have your brain?
