Do you live in a no helmet state and wear a helmet
#21
Lost a friend this spring to a minor ATV roll over. If he had been wearing the helmet like he usually did he would have kicked it over and kept riding. I don't want to get caught "just right".

In Ohio, you're only required to wear a helmet for the first year, or if you're under 18...
And No, I don't wear a helmet...I've never tried to convince someone who wants to wear one that they shouldn't, just wish those same people would return the same courtesy and stop preaching to those who (legally) don't...

I said always because I usually do but occasionally will go without it.
Long story short 2 years ago I wasn't wearing a helmet as much. I happened to have it mine on this particular night. Ended up getting in an accident and my helmet saved my head big time. It was worn through the outer shell into the foam. That is why I wear mine.

"Let those who ride, decide" ----- I do, but I'm dam glad that I have THE choice to go either way!

Came from Ohio and now in South Carolina. Both no helmet states. I too like the choice. Interstate and bad weather- yes. Country or not crowded streets-no, But I am always paying attention to what is going on near and around me.
