Dual Motorcycle Trailer...

Dual Motorcycle Trailer...
This labor day I'll be traveling back to PA from NC to visit some relatives for the Labor Day weekend. My father and I would like to tow our bikes up, but we've never dealt with a motorcycle trailer before.
He has a Heritage Classic and I have a Street Bob, so we'd need something that can tow them both adequately and securely.
I've done a search here and on Google, but there's a lot of info and types, sizes, prices and styles.
Was hoping some of you might have some solid suggestions or recommendations.
Not looking for anything insane or expensive. Doesn't have to be enclosed and air conditioned or anything like that. Just looking for something we can ride them up on, know they are secure and drive from NC to PA with no problems.
thanks.

Ya I was trying to decide what type is best. Like yours, there's the more general flatbed type trailers that you can bolt a chock to, or theres the ones more specific for a bike with the rails and so forth.
Would be nice if we could just rent one for the trip.

This was probably the nicest open trailer we found but it was pricey and really didn't want a dedicated trailer since not sure if or when we'll ever use it.

Decided to go with a dual purpose trailer we could use for general use plus for our bikes if the need arises like your situation. Got a dual axle 7x14 open landscape trailer with 7000lb gvwr. $2000 new.
Pretty sure a 6x10 single axle would work for you if you stagger the bikes. Probably $1500 or less.

I picked up a nice used 6x10 open trailer on Craig's list for our trip to Arizona. Only paid $800 for it and it already had will chocks installed by the previous owner. So maybe you can check that out.

I have the single Kendon trailer and couldn't be happier. Might not fit your budget. You might be able to find one used on Craigslist or Ebay at a much better price. I purchased mine less than half price off of Craigslist but had to drive 300 miles one way to pick it up.
