Ultimate Seats out of Canada...........Anyone?
Hey gang. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Ultimate Seat brand out of the Toronto area. I ran across them at the National H.O.G. rally in OKC. I've heard of the usual suspects.........Corbin, Mustang, Danny Gray, etc, but I've never heard of Ultimate before. I'm thinking about a new seat for the Heritage.
Thanks!

I have many friends who have Ultimate seats on their bikes and love them. Ultimate was at AZ Bike Week again this year so I stopped by and they were nice enough to install the seat on my bike and let me take it out for a few hours.
I liked the seat but it's a different shape than the touring seat already on my RK. I want to get a solo seat eventually and they make a nice one. The rear portion of the seat rises a bit to forward for me. I may buy Harley's solo seat now that they have them for 08 and after.
But the Ultimate seat was of high quality and comfortable. If it didn't have such high rise in the back, I would have bought it. But that's just me. You may feel different.
The rep was extremely nice and they have all their seats on supports for all models. You can just sit down and get the feel right away. They were letting numerous riders test ride the Ultimates on the riders own bikes.

I tried one on my Ultra. My brother has one and swears by it so I bought one. Took it for a 300 mile test ride and had the sore butt at 135 miles. Sent it back.
Nice looking seat, just didn't work for me. Also, it sat higher than the stock seat.

I have about 4,500 miles on mine. It's a fantastic seat. 980 miles in just over 2 days for the Laughlin River Run, and my butt was never even slightly sore. Most guys I've talked to who have one and have experience with other aftermarket seats say it's better than Mustang or Corbin. I can't compare, but I can say that my Ultimate solo seat is extremely comfortable and well made.

I've had Ultimate on two prior bikes and really liked them. The '09 Ultra seat is pretty good, and I put the adjustable rider's backrest on it. I'm going to give it this season before I decided on a new seat. If I do decide to swap it will be to an Ultimate.

I've got an 09 Road Glide now - only had it a month and have not decided to upgrade it. However, before this bike, I had a Honda 1300VTX and the stock seat on that bike was one step below waterboarding after about 50 miles. I bought an Ultimate Big Boy for the seat with the adjustable backrest. After comparing a Mustang seat that the stealer had in the store with an ultimate that somebody else had, I liked the Ultimate better. No regrets.... from the time I ordered it by phone, I had it in Virginia beach in about 8 or 9 days. As I remember, they only take orders by phone because they do ask questions such has how tall your are, weight and stuff. Very thorough and professional IMHO.
