Heading out next Wed 7/8 staying at Two Wheel Inn Thur & Fri then 3 days to get home!

 

Ya'll be safe. I live here and ride it all the time. Had 2 fatalities last week. Most all the pull offs are paved now. Be sure to ride Cherohala Skyway and hwy 360. Eat at TC's grill toward Maryville.

 

we plan to ride the cherohala and 360, and take the ride up new found gap and several other rides if there is any road someone wants to recommend that they know about let me know.

I got off work at 3pm today headed out to dads dropped primary oil, engine oil and filter, went over the bike checked cpl items and washed it up just got home .

 

Deal's is in the best shape it's been in for at least 20 years. Lot's of new runoffs for those that get a little too rambunctious. when I was there Thursday there was still some constructions crews working but theyplanned to be done by today. Be safe and have fun. Maybe we'll see you up there, but I think our group is going to ride the Wayah Bald tomorrow.

 

i looked up that Wayah bald is that the road that goes off of 129 out of Beechertown, looks like a nice ride.

 

A group of us rode the dragon two weeks ago and had a blast, but watch out for those semi trucks. We came around a blind corner and found the road was completely blocked in both lanes. One semi had run off the road on the inside of the curve and another had attempted to pass it on the outside. It could have been bad news if we were haulin' asp with nowhere to go. Ride within your limits, stay in your lane, and obey the speed limits and you will be ok. If you are trying to impress others, be prepared to add to the Tree of Shame. By the way, we saw marked sherriff's deputies cars, and TN state troopers on the dragon.
