Sometimes I just wanna run down to the local news station and have the "meteorologist" (aka guy who can be wrong all the time and still make 6 figures) clean my bike at gun point...

ok I'm done....
I got caught in the same storm system, except I was riding in it. It's only water, but dayum it's no fun with no windshield and a half helmet!

For the HOG Million Mile Monday my daughter arrives home from work and wants to take her Sportster out for a ride,

She has only been on it 3 times prior since receiving it as a college graduation present,

It is very overcast, and my daughter asks if it is going to rain, as she is not ready to experience that yet,

I tell her that the Weather Channel says 0% chance of getting wet,

Uneventful on the ride out of town, but as we turn around on our ride to get back home, the sky turns very black,

We get rained on 3 times while riding back to the house,

She was a real Pro in riding through the weather,

Do not understand why there are forecasters at all, What a waste,

PS, I did have a rainsuit and face guard ready in case it got really bad, but luckily the rain stopped each time just before it got to that point,

Yea, thats my point.. I dont mind getting wet, but with no rain suit and a half helmet, it's like getting shot in the face with little BB's at times when your at speed...
