Remember a couple of years ago when a radio disc jockey told his listeners to do just that to lane splitting bikers? There was quite an uproar about it.

Just one more reason to stay out of Boulder. Too much inbreeding.

A buddy of mine was stuck in traffic one day in his cage and saw a sport bike splitting lanes. A car tried to pinch him off, so my buddy watched as the bike finally passed the pincher car, he took the finger of his left hand and rubbed it along the entire length of the ******** car. Apparrently he had some kind of carbide tip on his glove and made a scratch along the side of the car.
Thats jacked up, but I would have liked to see the guys face when he got home and saw the damage.

I agree on teh attempted Homicide charge. The jerk intentionally opened the door and had to know he was creataing a risk of inflicting bodily harm.
As far as the press coverage, our local TV media generally does not care for motorcycles around here. Last weekend the State Hog rally was held in Duluth and there was a brief mention on Thursday evening but I did not see anything on Saturday or Sunday. The Gay Pride parade in Minneapolis got a lot of time devoted to that though.

here in Cali motorcycles get some headlines. There was an incident about a month ago some dickweed on a springer hit and killed a 9 yo girl crossing in a crosswalk with her father. The father was in a coma for a long time and I dont think he made it to his little girls funeral, they ended up amputating his leg.
The biker had a BAC of.16 or .18 and was at least hid 6th felony dui in the last 20 years. They are getting him on attempted murder, mayhem and a bunch of other felonies, in court the guy had the ***** to flip off the newscamera at his arraignment. This is the opposite of this story but idiots come in all shapes and sizes.

I'll bet not. You must remember Colorado is a green state, not blue, not red but green. Latino's are considered far more green than motorcyle riders are.
Just try to ride through Denver with a modified exhaust system on an HD, but the Chollos can play all they want in their low riders. The dude on the bike will have to pay to fix the Cabrone's door.

If you can't tell, I'm a little biased. Sorry

i doubt his intent was to murder the guy, but here in va i would charge him with malicious assault unless he told me he was trying to kill him.

Really? I'd have never guess that! I work in downtown Denver and the police are not enforcing the exhaust noise ordinace unless it's after 10 PM and you are disturbing the peace. I had V&H Big Shots on my old duece and have Bub 7's on my RG, but of which are loud enough to draw attention. Thanks for showing your ignorance on several levels.

To the OP, I didn't see this on the news this weekend but if you see more, do keep us updated. That act of road rage should not go unpunished.

EDIT: Just found the full story from the local paper... http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009...tting-motorcy/

Attempted murder or at least attempted vehicular manslaughter gets my vote

Quit getting your panties in a wad, eggburt. He was being facetious and sarcastic and still got his point across to everyone...except you, it seems.
