Am I too old for a Harley?

You're only too old if you plan on dropping dead next week.
If you were to stop riding when you turn 65, you would still have 20Years of being in the wind making it well worth it.
Hell, I’ve got a buddy who didn’t get his first bike until he was in his mid to late 50’s.

45, too old????
Holy crap....then I must be dead. As long as you got two good arms and two good legs you can get'r done.
Give some thought to the type riding you'll be doing before plunking down the cash.
Have fun.

I started at age 46 .After taking the riders course I bought a Suzuki C50 and rode it for 2 years.Bought my 08 RK last year.Take the course and see if you like it.If you do then get a starter bike or get your harley right off.I know one thing ,starting to ride has been one of the best things I have ever done.

You are old enough now...
Well, I disagree somewhat with ol Rabbit at top of the page....few of us "plan" on dropping dead! I know many in 20s-30s that didn't "plan" on dropping dead...but did...
You notice just about 100% say go for it...and I absolutely agree AND you should notice almost as many recommended the MSF Course....that is very good advice. You will not only feel safer you will be safer.
My wife started riding at 47..after a season on the back. I am only 64. There IS a minimum age to license and ride on the road....and you have made that cut. Enjoy life, celebrate life, live life, grab life by the short hairs and hold on. John
