Default Setting throttle position pcIII

So I am thinking about adding a different map to my pcIII. Do I need to reset my throttle position? If so, does the bike need to be running, and warmed up? I have read varying instructions on this. I watched the tutorial on the fuel moto website, but am more confused than ever. They say to have the bike warm and running. Other posts say it does not matter, just zero out the throttle position. When I load a new map, does my old throttle postition stay? Or do I need to redo it? I have searched several times...just need a definite answer. TIA.

I have redone the maps on mine several times. Each time I checked the numbers and the zero position stayed the same. I'd say you don't have to.
