Extended waranty
Has anyone used there extended waranty ?. Do they give you static if you have aftermarket upgrades cams,pipes,ignition. I am trying to decide if I want to buy it 1800.00 for 5 more years I ride about 12 to 15 thousand miles a year bike has 23,000 now would like to hear from people who have used the waranty or have it. also there is a 50.00 deductable.

It all depends on individual situation. General consensus, it is not worth it, and just a pure profit for the dealer. Regarding mods, again it depends on how friendly your dealer is. The law does side on the consumer - the burden of proof is on the Maker.

An extended warranty is really just an insurance policy.
Your betting your bike will break, by paying the extra cost for the policy.
The policy providers (sellers) are betting the bike will not break, so they can make a profit.
In most (not all) cases, an extended warranty is not worth the cost.
Take that same dollar amount and put it in savings, and add just a few dollars a month to it.
That way if your bike breaks, you will have it. If not, your way ahead.
