Little Advice Here Please!!!!
I am painting my Chrome Shortshots Black and have sanded them down good and applied 2 coats of 2000 Degree heat paint but its a little to much of a Flat Black and I would like something with a little more gloss. Could I apply a coat of semi gloss black paint over the 2000 degree paint or would that not look good or would it actually be bad since its not high temp paint?

you'll *** yr paint if you try to apply non heat paint to exhaust even if you have applied heat paint first, it will bubble and peal and smell.
i used VHT on mine before i had them ceramic coated, just be sure to cure it just the way the can says and don't apply it too thick...i made that mistake and had to redo it....also before it cures don't put to much pressure on the paint when your installin, even if you have a rag over it, it will put shapes in the paint and then harden

If it were me.. I would get some semi gloss high temp paint....
the high temp paint is not going to shield the standard paint from the heat....
Yep... what old skool1983 said!

not sure, but if there is a HT primer prior to spraying the HT paint on, I'd check into it..
Also if there is a epoxy HT paint, it wouldn't scratch as easy..
