Smoke from the rear cylinder

Smoke from the rear cylinder
Just took delivery of my 2008 Road Glide with 2700 miles on the odometer. I am really excited about same but upon firing it up.... there is a noticeable to moderate amount of blue smoke coming from the rear cylinder. Dealer advertised the bike as pristine and all work done as per the required timing.
I am a brand new Harley rider and do not know the bike yet... Is this standard? Thoughts on the problem?
I still have one years worth of warranty so I should be able to get it looked at but your thoughts would be appreciated.

No it's not normal.
1 - Did the smoke burn off or continue.
If it burned off, could be leaking valve stem seal.
Is it continued to smoke it could be a stuck ring. How long has it been sitting?
Do a leak down-compression test or have the dealer do it. It should be under warranty.

Check the exhaust flange nuts to be sure they are tight. I scared the s**t out of myself thinging about blown heads, etc. and this was the problem.

I do not know for sure. The tire pressures were at 27 lbs. The battery needed to be charged to turn over properly so I suspect a while. Only 2700 miles and he has lots of bikes so I suspect not much riding here. I let it run for about a min and it was still smoking. Have not restarted it.

Did you buy it from a dealer? Or an individual? If from an individual, make sure all things necessary for the transfer of the warranty go without a hitch. Then get it to a dealer. Quickly.
