Default The show "Twist the Throttle"

Dunno if anyone watches this show on HD theater but they had a cool show today about the history of BMW motorcycles. I know its not Harley but man back in 1920's a bike like that going over 100mph is just sick lol.

The technology of there bikes was way ahead of its time imho. I'm not a fan of BMW but its a cool show and if you can you should try to catch a rerun

I enjoy the show. I really like to see the history of the manufacturers and the dedication it took to start building motorcycles from scratch while emersed in a completely different industry. The BMW show was impressive but, the shows on the Japanese gaints, really are something. Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki must have been extrodiary men with great vision too pull off what they did and their respective industries are the some of best in the world today.

I saw the Kawasaki one last night, really impressive, especialy that track they built in the middle of nowhere in Japan.

I remember back when I started riding had a Kawi as a first bike, the KZ400 twin upright, saw it on the show and the 76 KZ900 which was my last Jap bike. They were good, solid and affordable and the KZ900 was as fast as you were going to go in 76 right out of a box. HD was built by AMF back then and they were exactly the best of the best. BUt, I went HD in 78 with the FXS Low Rider, not a great bike but real pretty.

Anyway, real good shows, motorcycles just make me smile.

I have seen a couple episodes and find them quite informative. I love anything motorcycle. The gold wing episode is really cool. Wouldn't mind seeing their show on harley's too.

Think it's a pretty good show too. I also would like to see one done on Harley if it has not been done yet.

I saw the BMW and Kawasaki episodes. Not a fan of their bikes either, but thoroughly enjoyed the show and would surely watch another episode.

I liked ‘em…..even though I really don’t have much attachment to those early model bikes they feature. I’ve recorded all of them…..I think I’m missing the Honda episode.
