Drink and ride?
#25
Ain't it the truth. Some peeps have no reading comprehension abilities or they just want to jump on their self-righteous high horse.
Yes, my wife and I both drink when we ride. Saturday in 100* heat we stopped had a dozen raw oysters and an oyster po-boy with a couple of beers each to wash it down. So?
Now to answer the peeps: No, we never ride drunk but that wasn't the question now was it!

Alcohol can reduce your reaction time even just one drink. Unfortunately, we cannot build up our tolerance to alcohol. If one has to drink, just wait until the alcohol is out of your system.

I responsibly add an adult beverage here and there while I'm out riding.
Once the bike is put away for the night, so is my responsible decision making skills and all bets are off.

Just wanted to make it clear, I am not interested in jumping on an self-righteous high horse here. Nature has a amazing way of taking care of things - natural selection process at it best. Survival of the fittest.
