Thought I go hit my first local chapter meeting tonight.
Intereseted in the LOH stuff definately, but not sure about
General Rides and such since Hubby rides a Honda.

Think my Bro-in-law will be there...he lives a couple of miles from me
but we never see him.

Should be interesting. What usually goes on at chapter meetings?

 

Social gathering mostly, but you will meet some good people that enjoy riding and make new friends.

 

HOG is really a pretty good organization, and there is no reason that you can't go on the general rides and have your husband go as a guest, or an associate member for that matter.

There may be some closed rides, but most HOG groups I have been associtated with have a lot of open rides, and all bikes are welcome. I know this year that people can go to the National HOG Rally as guest of members.

They had a parking lot safety class listed yesterday for Saturday and today it's not on the site anymore.
Bummer I thought I might go and learn something....Maybe next time.

 

The meetings are not nearly as good as the rides. We have a guy go on lots of the rides who has a VTX. He just has to sign a waiver before each ride. When you join the local chapter tonight (if you havn't already), you'll sign a waiver good for the whole year.
