I do it on paper type filter but not on cotton type like a K&N.

Yes,on K&N, light pressure just to help dry them before adding oil.

Not suppose to but yap. Light air on the K&N just to help dry (as said above). And besides it bends the “you know what” out of them beating on the driveway.

Guilty. Low air pressure on the K&N. Fker takes forever to dry otherwise. Then the hair dryer on low comes out to finish the job.

Never do! I just place my K&N in a bucket with dishwashing liquid soak it for an hour or so, swish it around, hose it water with inside to outside, then lay it in the sun to completely dry, then oil it up and back on the bike. My K&N is 11 yrs old, so I am careful with it.

All the maintenance pros i know get pissed at me if I blow out the air filter on a power shovel. They yell NOOOO you just ruined it. From inside out I say it can't hurt just not too high a pressure like 15 or 20 lbs maxx! But no you aren't 'sposed ta.

Way to dry and dusty here to even attempt it. Even using low pressure the paper may rip and dust the motor.
