Going for a 3 day ride up in Wisconsin
Friday, April 29th we will leave for Wisconsin for a 3 day ride.
We will leave Clinton,Illinois on Friday at 6:00A.M. and ride up to Eau Claire and may be up to Rice Lake on Friday, then spend the night.
Saturday, head up to Duluth and then come back down the boarder of Minnesota and Wisconsin and hook up with the big river(Mississippi) at the Twin Cities.
Ride the Mississippi all the way down to the Quad Cities in Illinois.
I hope the weather is good for us[sm=idontcare.gif]
This should be a 1200/1300 mile trip in 3 days[8D]
Any of you good people along the way that would like to have a hand shake[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Greetings from the Iowa side of the mighty Mississippi. That's a run I'm anxious to make. I drove a small portion of it in my '66 Nova hot rod last year (Sept.) when some friends and myself went to the car show in Nauvoo. Gorgeous drive. I sold the Nova to buy a '40 Chevy Sedan with a big block, but I plan on making a run some time this summer with our new '05 Road King Classic. Just a thought...I'll PM you and let you know when we decide to do it. Maybe if you're free we can meet up for a lunch on the road. I'll probably have the wife and a couple of buddies with me. Until then, take care.

Tom, we were just in Nauvo 2 weeks ago[8D]
We went over to Quincy and headed north on the Iowa side, at Burlington, we headed east twards home.
We get over that way tons of time in the summer.
We like going to Alton,Illinois and head north from there and ride the Illinois river north as far as we can, then hit the Mississippi. Great riding roads[8D]
