I use a FF helmet. The best two I have used are my current helmet: Icon Alliance SSR in matte black, and my previous one: KBC VR1 Euro.

A FF helmet will not cure wind noise it may even make it worse I wear a FF and the drumming is as bad as the wind noise. Get a good fitting set of ear plugs.

+1 on the earplugs

I have acc carbonfiber half helmet, Shoei J-wing 3/4 (my favorite) and Shoei X-eleven FF...all have wind noise...solved problem with earplugs...really cut down the wind noise and the ride fatigue that the wind noise causes.

Well my FF is in the mail,I expect to see itfriday or monday. I went out last night with half helmet for about a thirty mile ride without WS and even at 60 mph i was finding I had to hold on tighgt and hug the bike with my thighs.no real buffeting tho. I definitely like my WS,i'll let you know after I get the FF .

I wear one on long trips, when riding alone and when cool. I am starting to wear it more and more but like others said it reduces the wind noise but doesnt eliminate it. On a long trip I still use ear plugs.

I just put pop in disposable type ear plugs if I'm going on a long ride. All the breeze and less noise...
