The pitbull raises to 25" while J&S stops at 18". That's probably the biggest difference other than price. Either jack is a top shelf product though. I'm a J&S customer...

Great product; great customer service; what’s not to like?

After reading all the great reviews, I ordered one today, look forward to using it. I have the Sears yellow jack with a stand built by a Honda VTX rider that I bought for my VTX that works great along with the Sears jack, but I am looking forward to having a solid jack that doesn't need a stand. I bought a Pit Bull many years ago at a Goldwing Rally when I had my Wing and it is a great product. I sold it when I needed some quick cash, too bad I didn't keep it. The only real difference is the price and the lifting height, but it looks like the JS has plenty of what I need.
