Default Loud pipes suck!!!!

Yeah, I thought loud pipes were cool when I was 20.... I now notice that the bikes I encounter while riding (those with unmuffled pipes) are totally offensive and disturbing! Don't riders realize that the small minority of rude riders will eventually cause legislation to get passed that will restrict our ability to ride- based solely on the actions of some insecure babies who want the world to notice them and their loud scooters? They make me laugh, they make me cringe, but I wish they'd just find another way to show their manhood.

I've been riding for 40 years and the last 15 years of Harley popularity has really dragged our sport into the toilet....

I'll keep my loud pipes. Even if it helps one driver know I'm there, it's worth it. Yeah, I value my life more than their peace of mind.

I've been riding for 40 years too and I like loud pipes. If they just save my life one time I'm good. Opinions are like......... "well you what"

So basically, what you're saying is that you've had your fun and now that it's over, you don't want anyone else to have theirs. Egotistical.

Just me...but man it bugs me when someone refers to riding as a "sport". Last time I checked I wasn't gettin cut a huge check and answering endorsements to ride. I guess if you only ride on those perfect days with 0% chance of rain, 30% humidity and 80 degrees it might be a sport.

So if I'm going to end up forced to run stock pipes anyway, why should I voluntarily start now?
