I hate loud pipes on every bike ... except mine.

 

I agree, don't actually hear to many quiet Harley's where I live. But I heard one the other day, barley. LOL It was for sale, at the local car dealer, I wanted to buy just to put some straight pipes on it. I felt bad for the bike.

 

loud pipes save lives plenty of proof of that

 

so cite some, please.

 

Stopped in at the AMA headquarters last year to discuss an article of mine that they printed and ended up talking with the President. He said that legislation against loud motorcycles is the 'single biggest threat to the sport right now'.

All I need to know....

If loud pipes on your bike are for your own safety and you are concerned with you own well-being, why do most riders of Harley's not wear proper protective appearel?

 

Loud pipes are fine, it's the douche bags that constantly blip the throttle that will bring noise laws.

Had a Pete with 9" straights come down a hill behind me with the jake on makin on hellavu noise and dammm if I didn't get outta his way in just a knick of time..... I know I saved a life that day!!!

I read your post, then I read your sig. Just thought you should know, you are not coming across as humorous. But rather you are coming across as a rope smoker, way to concerned with what other riders are wearing and doing with their bikes.

Just a suggestion, try living your life instead of trying to prevent others from living theirs. Douche bag.
