Is she a breast cancer survivor? I thought that the only people that were participants in Amazon Heart were specially selected CA survivors. If she is...WOOt WoOt for her and congrats on being in on the ride.

Yes she is and it was the Amazon Heart ride. She also did the one last year.

 

First I would like to wish her well on the survivor side of things and glad it is going well for her, my wife is also a survivor. I'm sure it was a great experience for her and her friends of the Amazon Heart , my hat is off to them. As for batting for the other side I think at this point in her life it should be about being happy and living life, her life. The ride looked nice but it still can't compare to riding this country out west.

 

My hat is off to your sister.. congrats to her for surviving.. and for having the gumption to ride her own road as it were.. sounds to me like she's earned the right to do what she wants to do..

Tell her congrats on being a survivor and on enjoying her life since.

I have had 2 surgery's for it, skin and stomach cancer and have been
healthy & free for 6 to 7 years. That is one place I had always wanted
to go and ride since I was in the navy 25 years ago, we never made
it there kept getting cancelled.

 

I'm not rich, but rented last January for 1/2 day outside Sydney. It was great after I figured out how to ride on the "wrong" side. Looks like your sister had some fun.
