Default Harley Brand Riding Boots

I purchased HD Delinquent boots last weekend and was most displeased. They hurt like hell, were uncomfortbale to walk in, and weren't the kind of quality you'd expect for $150.

I really noticed once I put my military flight boots next to them! The HD boots had inferior leather, stitching, comfort, padding, grip from the sole even though they cost twice as much.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

Some of them are like that. If you look at the side of the heal of the boot and there is no different look as of color they will hurt your feet. If the have a small spot with a different color they are the comfort sole.
You can also get your HD boots at

Good prices and good service
The hd boots are made by wolverine

There are so many better boots out there that don't have an HD logo and cost less than half the dough.
Do a search.
There was a good thread here about 2 weeks ago with many great suggestions.

I see you're in Hawaii - did you have to mail order them? Otherwise, why in the world would you buy a $150 pair of boots that make you that miserable? Did you try them on? Wear them for more than 5 minutes? I'd be putting them on and walking around the store for at least an hour to get a feel for their long term comfort.

I bought mine at Academy, and paid $89.00. I think they call the model I have "Brakelight". They are fairly comfortable, but not good for a lot of walking. I was dissapointed when I looked in the tongue and saw that they are made in China.

Ofcourse then I bought a pair of Wolverine boots for work. Wolverine, a good American brand right......looked in the tongue, "Made in China". And that slogan they use "real comfortable boots." They're not all that comfortable.

I think Red Wings are still made in the USA. If you're looking for a quality boot that might be the way to go.

I got a super deal on a pair or Harley Davidson Eagle harness boots. $30.00 brand new in the box with the tags still on. Couldn't pass them up for that price.

Wearing them I found the insoles sucked! I am short ride from a company called Impact Gel http://www.impactgel.com/footwear.html I picked up a pair of their insoles while I was there. HUGE difference in comfort!

FYI---Mean City Cycle just started using Impact Gel in seat rebuilding.

mine are decent now that they've broken in. I'm not even sure what 'model' they are, I got them at a clearance sale.

Best quality boot I've ever had was Cat though, the y last forever.
