Been having the same H-D boots for about five years now... still in excellent shape and they are comfortable enough...

Personally... I don't let anything with strings near my bike...

Just a thought.... don't this sound kind of like a womens thread....

Just sayin...

Guess you didn't read the small print "These boots are disigned for decorative purposes only and are not meant to be used for walking in"

My HD boots are taking up space in the closet. Ride with my Tims.

I bought a pair of these http://www.leatherup.com/p/Mens-Moto...ole/47405.html I can wear them all day long and they don't bug me. They had a HD pair that looked just like them but it costs about 40 dollars more. Also flight boot hold up pretty well against most brands I still have a pair of them in case of rain.

I like a person put down all the shoes with a brand name on it. We know that he has not try more than one pair with that brand name on it. I will bought a riding shoe for the protection as there are no steel toe shoe at harley store. This shoe are more of a poser type show wear. As I remember my army boots never had the protection in it ether. They were go as walk shoe but not much as protective type shoe maybe todays shoe having kevlar and padding they are more to them. Yes not to forget that harley also has the harley flip flops and tennis shoes. I think harley has those for the real rider. What are you thinking? There are boots made with the rider but most people do not put the money out for protection and it all about the show ride. I see so many of the rice bike riders with the best riding gear as to the harley riders are wear any pretty.

Can you say made in China? I wear boots made the USA. No toxic dyes that they use on the China made stuff. Got a major infection in both feet from wearing HD Boots. Doctor told me to throw those boots away. Never again will I wear made in China stuff on my feet.

RedWings... awesome boots. Also, Sidi are very good. My HD boots are sitting in the closet. I'd rather wear my sneakers than those.

My wife bought a pair of HD boots. She really liked the look/style. She could walk in them OK, but after a week, the soles starting separating. She took them to a boot repair place here in town. They said for what it would cost to make them durable and safe (essentially remaking the boot), she should just buy another pair.

She did.

And now she won't by anything with the HD brand unless it is a bike, or something that goes on the bike, or something used to maintain the bike.
