I saw that on tv last night, Blunt was standing there looking like he was pissed.

I bet he was trying to figure out some way to blame it on the bloody guy on the stretcher.

Glad to see he was cited for it guess they had no choice or opportunity to find a way to blame the scooter rider...

Its if he vetos it we are screwed from what I have been told. If he doesnt sign or veto it, it goes into effect. Just what I have been told, dunno if thats correct or not.

Well Hopefully this does not affect the Freedom of choice law .. Never know though My Buddy had a wreck cause a Cager pulled out in front of him.. Laid it down and Broke his leg no other damage and all the Newspaper talked about was not wearing a helmet even though didn't even have a scratch on his face or head...

Not to completely hijack the thread, but that was my story, too. I t-boned a left-turning drunk driver 31 years ago this summer. I came out of it great, actually, with only severely sprained ankle, wrist/hand, back, and a big hole in my right leg from the chrome emblem on the tank that require two layers of stitches to close. The paper said I was transported to the hospital via ambulance and was not wearing a helmet. Of course, I would have had to wear it on my knee to help at all, but I guess that really didn't matter.

Was the ex gov on the cell phone or twittering? Why not say that, the press prints whether or not seatbelts were worn or if a helmet was worn. Thoughts from LEOs.
