It is all about freedom, unless you want a chain, or gloves, or chaps, or you don't wave, or you do wave, or you use synthetic oil, or not. You guys kill me.

 

All of my chains only lasted about 15K.

 

It seems like belt vs. chain comes down to what you want. What gets me is the idiot at the shop who just didn't sell you what you were willing to consider buying. Guess they had more business than they wanted.

 

What was the question again ? something about bad mammories ? Some of these Harley shops ain't worth squat. They can't work on a bike over 10 yrs old. I have decided I am gonna get the things I need to do all the complete work on my twin cam.

I used to do all the work on my shovel, and EVO (other than machine shop work). I have already had some very good advice sent to me by some people on this forum . By the time I need to "tear into it" . I won't even bother with HD.. never have before why start now.
