Some of my opinion has more to do with what my customers *buy* - which doesn't necessarily make it "better", just more popular.

I sell automotive paint & related supplies to auto body shops. Some times, they use products because of their "comfort level" with a product or product line. They are used to using it, and, with some bias, they perceive these products to be "better", although that may not be true.

Additionally, some times, they choose their products based on cost. I may show them a product they feel is "better" than what they are using, but, in the end, they may feel it's not "better enough" to justify the cost.

As a result, I have always sold more 3M products than anything else. Farecla, Promethius and perhaps others might make a somewhat better product in some areas.

As a result, I tend to use 3M products, because they are readily available to me... and I am more than happy with the results and performance. They have added a number of new car care products - compounds, cleaners, waxes, etc. ... that I recently tried & liked very much.

 

We use them. They work pretty good. Keep a bottle in the saddle bags.

Also I found another product that works real good Bug Slide.
