Just had mine done today and the first service was free with *** HD in Mansfield PA. They are a great dealership. Austin is the salesman.

1000 mile was around 280 for my Sporty. The 5000 cost me $50 since I did it myself.

Mine was included in the Price but 1,000 Mile service is around $300.00 at the Dealership which is actually not bad as I know they do all the things actually called for on the 1K Service.. But been doing my own since then...

285.00 with tax & I had them stiffen the shocks 2 full turns. I supplied Mobil 1 V-twin oil & 75-90 tranny lube. I will do the fluids going forward.

1k was free with purchase of new bike. 5k and 10k I did myself. At those prices I think the service manual has paid for itself already.

My 1000 mile service was free, except for the ~$25 for the oil and such.

I just paid $287 for my Sporty. That price included standard fluids.
For reference, my riding buddy just had his 1k service done on his Yamaha R6 and it was less than $100. I guess Harleys ain't cheap!! LOL

I do all my own. Cost just under $50 for Syn3 and filter. I get the service manual thrown in on the new bike purchase. Then I do everything that the manual calls for. I am sure that many shops just do the fluids and filter.

The manual was thrown in on the last three bikes with out any hesitation.

It is an easy task. On a scale of one to ten, it hardly rates a one.

Harbor Fright just had a sale on torque wrenches for $11.99. For $362 one can by the inch and foot lb. wrenches, floor jack, oil/filter, gaskets, and whatever with lots of cash left over.
