Default Do you have any "lucky charms" for riding?

I bought my first bike, and really the first big purchase of my life, on May 1st 2009 - my 25th birthday. I was getting a Diet Coke from the vending machine during work (I went to do all the paperwork and stuff on the bike afterwards), and received a 1963 quarter (one of the all-silver ones, not the silver-nickel hybrids that have been out since 1965) in change. I've kept it in my jacket pocket ever since. I think it's good luck.

Aside from the usual "gremlin bells" on the bottom of the bike, do you carry around any kind of good-luck charm when you ride? Any stories associated with it?

Just the guardian bell for me as well. My wife gave it to me when I bought the bike. Nothing wrong with carrying as much luck as possible concidering what we have to deal with out on the road. Maybe you should try and find some way to mount it on your bike in some way.

I have a small Buddha statue, one in every vehicle I own, don't know why.

I've also got a guardian bell. It was a gift from my son. And I always carry a challenge coin in my wallet!

Gremlin bell myself but that gray matter between our ears is the only one that really works.
Ride safe and enjoy that new bike.

I always have a dog tag style charm my family got me. I was in a hmmwv roll over a few years ago, ever since then I've carried with me.
