I never had a windshield on my XLH, so I made sure I had good goggles and had my helmet tight. You will get used to riding at highway speed, but you will need to build up your endurance and strength first. If you really want to get a windshield, dont forget to look at Windvest. I have one on my Low Rider and it is the best of both worlds. I get some wind in the face, but the main blast of wind on my chest is diverted.
