I actually have a shoulder problem from an old hockey injury...should have gotten surgery, but never did...My right hand goes numb due to nerve damage in the shoulder....if the apes would aleviate this that would bean added plus

I have Wild Ones 0560's with a 14" pullback on my 06. They are low bars & after putting some miles on the 09 Heritage with the stock mini apes, I am in the process of changing the 06 to HD Fat Mini Apes. They are more comfortable & I feel I have more control with the mini apes. They look great too.

The pullback issue comes into play on my bike due to the detachable fairing. I need bars which have less pullback as I can only push the bars so far forward. In addition those with fairings should have bars such as Carlini Gangsters which sweep forward. I don't like the SG apes with the angle built in as I do take the fairing off. I am still working on building a set but can't seem to get the right.

38" inseams, and 37" sleeves, NOTHING stock fits worth a chit.

They are on there for SAFETY as well as comfort. (Nothing will screw up your trip FASTER than getting your knees tangled in the handles. )

PLUS the tassels would be hangin' WAY TOO low.

I run 16 inch Wild 1's and have had apes on all my bikes. They force me to ride with good posture which really helps with my lower back. I also have a mustang seat with backrest which helps. I have done back to back to back 600 plus mile days with no pain. They may not be for everyone, but they are the only way to go for me!

I think they would help as they force you into correct posture. Only one way to find out...
