EMERGENCY!!!! Lost key 2000 miles from home
My brother in law went to pick up his SG from the lot where the delivery driver dropped it off at. Problem is the driver lost his key and the ignition is locked.
Hihs spare key is home in Az, and I am in Vegas today. He also has not checked into his hotel as he had a one day hotel in Gastonia NC. The bike is in Daffney NC where he had to pick his bike up. so no where to really deliver a package too. Also the HD dealer closest about 70 miles away is closed on Mondays
What can he do to get a key? If I get the number off his key at home can a deraler or locksmith cut one for him? Can hog recommned someone who can do it for him?

Wow, that sucks. All I can think off is to find the Next closest dealer to your buddy and see if they can next day air a new key, or find a way to deliver it. They may not be able to do that over the phone though, for obvious security reasons. He may be waiting until his dealer opens regardless, so they can confirm his info and cut him a new key, He shoulda got two keys anyhow??? (oh you did say its in AZ) Wish I was more help.

You might try a local locksmith. Near me, not all of them have or will cut the new barrel keys. Might be the perfect time to contact the sponsor's banner on this website to see if they can help. gotkeys.biz

He is in Charlotte picking up his bike to head ot myrtle beahc bike week. He lives in Az. Hes a long way from home.

The only Harley Dealership I know of over there is the one by Concord Mills... They are closed on Monday?
the dealer locator shows Six Dealers in the Charlotte Area... ONE of them has to be open.

btw... the one on Independance is the one accross from Concord Mills if I recall correctly. ---- UPDATE... STRIKE THAT I AM STUPID.... Can you tell I do not live in Charlotte. Pat Rogers is the one by Concord Mills... On Concord Mills Drive even... Duh. But Matthews, NC is not far from Charlotte. At least I do not think it is...
I know Ray Price is open today... They are open 7 days a week... but they are 2.5 hours away from Charlotte. But maybe he/you can call them and ask for some direction on what to do.

Tell him to grab a hotel and you overnight his key to him there. Not much else he can do. Get a room and relax. Go check out the town he is in and make a day of it.

The Gastonia Hd shop had a winner of a guy their. He suggested he make a new key. But had no suggestions... thanks for nothing. The Greenville shop is the next closest and their message says I check my messages daily leave a message. Someone has to know someone who can make a key locally. As we really have no where to ship a key too. His next hotel is in Myrtle beach and he had to check out this morning.
