07 FLHTC 96 ci clutch adjustment

Nope. It's easy to do if you are somewhat handy as a wrench. i would give it a 4 on a 1-10 scale.
Is it slipping? is it in the lever?
To adjust the clutch itself.
1 . remove the inspection cover
2. there is a jamb nut in the center of the clutch assembly with an allen in the middle
3. Loosten the jamb nut 1 turn or so
4. tighten the allen in the center until you feel it start to grab
5. back the allen off 1/4 turn and holding the allen, tighten the jam nut
To adjust the lever
1. you will need a 1/2" and 9/16" wrench
2. follow the cable until you find the adjusting nuts
3. back off the jamb nut
4. adjust the other nut until you have enough play in thelever to fit a nickel in
5. tighten the jamb nut and replace the boot

when you go to adjust the clutch, while tightening the allan to feel it grab, it is a very light grab! I overtightened mine and went nuts trying to figure out why my clutch cable would not pull, I ended up taking everything apart a few times till i realized that "lightly seated" meens very light.

What they said and I might add:
First, back of the cable adjusting nut to introduce slack in the lever.
Second, make all adjustments when bike is cold.
Third, buy a service manual for your bike. They are extremely helpful.

spot on ron... but i think point three(buy service manual) should be first. then slack the lever then adjust clutch pack then take slack out of lever. then test ride.

Also you are going to want that bike level, not on the jiffy stand when you pop the derby cover off, otherwise you will be cleaning up the floor. I always have a spare derby cover on the shop wall, that way if mine looks at all mashed or torn I can replace it with a new one. My Panhead was the only bike that "marked it's spot"!
