I ordered a set of the MetalArts horns from them late last week. They're due in this afternoon. I will let you know how they sound when I get them installed.

Also it depends at what distance and in what environment they're being measured. If you measure the output of both at the same distance you'll probably find that they're very close. The reason I can say that is that I have both. I bought the Stebel fist and didn't care for the way it looked when mounted and the fact that the sound is directed to the left rather than forward as does with the Howards. So it went in my Jeep where I could mount it so the trumpet output is facing forward it works great. Way better than the stock Jeep horn. The Howards, for me, are more suited to the bike.

Just my $0.02 Your mileage and db output level may vary.

I have Rivco air horns on my bike and did on my last bike. Need a place to put the air compressor but the work great. Have over 80,000 miles between the two bikes and never had a problem with them.

Not the cheapest ones out there by far. Quality and reliability is great.

The Wolo Bad Boy & Stebel Nautilus/Mini Beast I & II are the same horns. Stebel measures from 4 inches away. Wolo measures from 4 feet.

Here's the Wolo Bad Boy & the new Stebel Mini Beast II on my bike. They are loud! They sound the same.

We do alot of ride and use the horn for large crowds. We can tell you what sounds louder then other brands. With out going to air tanks and train horns. We use the Stebel, wolo or bad boy witch is the same horn harley sales. If you buy the wolo, bad boy or HD horn pull the cap off and in is labeled made by Stebel. We will here other brand horn at there lower sounds. And as we do parade ride and sometimes are horn are you for hours strait use. I have freinds that have howard horns they are not very loud and don't last in the parade rides.
