+1 on the keeping your head up and braking sooner that helped a lot for me. Also resist the urge to turn your handlebars causes more dropped bikes at intersections with two up.

As you come to a complete stop you should be off the front break completely. Start breaking mostly front then add in back as you slow down. As your motion ceases drop your left foot then your right. If on a hill, reapply front to keep you steady.

Be sure to keep the front wheel straight and don't compress the front forks by applying front break just before the stop. U should be on the rear brake only, with the front wheel straight ahead while looking straight ahead. Don't look down. Hope this helps.

+1 I used to do a lot of two-up and braking harder/more quickly tends to lessen that wobbly feeling.

Assuming your braking methods haven't changed I guarantee you that you are looking down as you come to a stop. Keep your head up and look straight down the road. Smoother stops guaranteed.

I think you need to send your GF to balancing classes. She might be a little top heavy for your bike. Send her to my house so we can start those classes soon.

I think a wobbly bike is a good trade off for a top heavy girlfriend.

Then again, maybe your bike is wobbly because your top heavy girlfriend is making your squirm in your seat.

CHIT CAN that front brake. They're WAY over rated, anywho !!!!
Just make sure you're bean is 'calibrated' for ONE brake, U R GTG !!

I know this sounds TOOPID, when was the last time you had your eyes tested, or glasses upgraded?? I changed glasses, when we had our 01 Ultra. Believe it or not, made my riding better, including stopping BALANCED. (Either that, OR it just LOOKED better with the new 'eyes'. )
Don't ask me why, I have no clue. But even she noticed it, too. I wasn't "wrestling" with it, when we stopped.

HUH?? I've been using the front brake for years while stopping! it don't matter if you got a babe on the back. Only use the rear to help or if it's the only brake on the bike. I also always keep the bike in gear with the front brake applied just in case you gottsa move. Guess I'm spoiled by riding the same lady for 35 years for the most part.

If you follow this advice, you can't go wrong. Wish I had this set of tips when I started 2up. Took a little while, but now 2up stops are no sweat. Good luck!
