Newbie from Delaware with a Question for all shopping for First Harley !
First I like to say hello to everyone and thanks for your time at taking the time read and answer my question ...
today I was at Mike Famous Harley New Castle Delaware for 94 WYSP Harley days of May with host DJ Dany Bonaduce and I was one of 107 people with a chance to win a 2009 Harley 883 Iron but I did not win the free bike but with my ticket Mikes famous said they would give me $1000.00 off a bike if I bought today ... so my question is did they give me a good deal on a 2009 Harley 1200 all black Nightster with their price of $11,200.00 but I offered was $10,000.00 and they took off $1000.00 because of my WYSP ticket so their offer was $9000.00 plus tax & tags ... so should I go with that deal or should I try to see if any other dealership can match or beat it ? or should I try to go even lower with Mikes ? ... thanks for your help in advance !

Fact that you apparently were able to walk out without signing on the dotted line shows you're not exactly an easy mark.
Find what HD msrp is on their website. Knock 1500-2000 off. That is what I would shoot for. Infamous Mikes is known for pricing their bikes way over msrp. Don't know where they got that 11,200 figure.
I had a bad experience with them but that was almost two years ago and I understand they are under new management/ownership.
Have you checked with other dealerships to see what they can offer you. Plenty of them in that area.

These guys are right there are alot of dealers in this area. I bought my Road King at Mikes in New Castle and got a great deal. That was about 3 years ago so I guess it's just who you deal with, the salesman has a lot to do with the deal being good. It's not all price. 9000.00 sounds pretty good to me.
