Just FYI, the hotel in Oatman (where Clark Gable and Carole Lombard stayed) is closed for renovation. That used to be one of the big draws, so if you're going to see it, plan for another time.

We were just up there 2 weeks ago from Laughlin.

Death Valley can be done, at least partially w/ an all day ride in a loop, or Valley of Fire can be done in 1/2 day or so, and I think Red Rock is even closer.

Ck out my thread of both places from March (you'll have more daylight to work w/ than I did): https://www.hdforums.com/forum/road-...arge-pics.html

I posted a bunch of big pics in there...

I'd ck the weather for the time you're there, as someone said DV might be pretty hot at that time, I went end of Feb/early March and it was nice, but cool at the upper elevations before getting into DV.

I've done some research online since coming back, and want to see a lot of other stuff out there now. I could spend a lot more time in DV alone, but also want to ck into Zion National Park, or anything else out that way looks interesting to me.

Have fun!
