Yup...and when you finally get the registration renewed, the cost is retroactive to when your registration expired!!...meaning If it expired 3 yrs. ago, you would have to pay 3 yrs. of registration costs!!

Definitely NOT worth it!!

I'd be happy to pay that amount. Here in NH the registration is based on value derived from the NADA book. Four hundred for a new car registration isn't unusual.
