Default Look Ma! No windsheild!

Morning temps have been 65 degrees and afternoons 80. So I removed the quick detach windshield a couple of days ago and got some wind in my face. Heck, I almost forgot what it feels like.
I'm diggin it.

I did that the other day for the first time on my new ride, the only thing was I forgot that along with the wind in your face you also get the pesky bugs. Oh well I guess that is a small price to pay.

What kind of shields do you guys use that you actually don't get the wind in your face with them on? When I take my Windvest shield off, the difference is that the wind against my face is smooth rather than being a bit turbulent, but the actual quantity of wind is pretty similar. Biggest difference is the amount of crap hitting my face. In general, I like the feel better with the shield off....in between bug strikes. Every time I get hit in the face by a big bug, though, I wish the shield was back on!

Yea, I did the same thing last week. Temps in the mid to high 80's, very little wind...feels good.

Agreed, the ride looks, sounds and feels better without. Sometimes I wish I had a full size shield instead of a compact.
