Electrical Issue - Horn/Turn Signals Mysteriously Stop Working
Bike: 2009 Night Train
Issue:
Everything was fine. I was out riding around and had zero issues, as I would expect on a 2 month old bike.
Stopped at my house to put on my jacket and change gloves. Came back out, started up and rolled out.
Immediately noticed both turn signals are not working.
Horn is also not working.
High beams work and so does the run and start switches. Front signal lights are running as they should, but will not signal turns.
Anyone know WTF is going on here? . Fuse? Something loose?
Dealer did replace the rear fender last week. Was something just not plugged back in tightly?

OK.
So this problem persists.
The fender change. Yes, I want to blame it on this too. Of course the dealer is quick to dismiss this idea.
I dropped it off this past week and left it with them for a couple days. They put roughly 30 miles on the bike and could not get the fuse to blow.
Unable to replicate it, they essentially did nothing and left me feeling SOL.
At the beach now. Things were fine last night and this morning. Then this afternoon it blew again. Pulled over. Swapped the fuse. Hit my right turn signal. It worked. Hit the front brake (couldn't tell if the lights lit up or if fuse blew, my arms aren't that long). Then when I hit the right turn signal it was blown.
Changed again and rode for an hour or so. Then it blew again on my way home.
I called the dealer I bought the bike from. and while its 6 hours from my house, I'm leaving it there till its fixed.
I can't even enjoy the bike when I'm riding it because I'm constanty worried if my taillight/turn signals have failed because of a blown fuse.
F*ck.

Definitely don't let them give you the "nothing wrong with the bike" pitch. Somewhere in the fender change there is a wire that is shorting and blowing your fuses.
