Default Changing to a Deuce or a ?

Have a 04 1200 custom sporty, as much as I love the way she handles, I feel the need for a larger Harley. Most all the guysI ride with have NEW wide glides [ or low riders]. I like them BUT have the hots for a DEUCE. Any serious comments on the difference between them?? Have not been on a Deuce YET. But will.
Thanks in advance

Hi Vinnie,

Not sure of the differences, but the Deuce sure is one sweet looking bike...

I really like my deuce. I've ridden quite a few Fatboys and a Heritage, but no sportsters so I can't really get specific on details. What I can say is that I like the riding position of the deuce better than the others. A buddy of mine has an 04 fatboy and rode mine for the first time last week and couldn't believe how much he liked it as well. They have a good ride, handle pretty well and look great with a few mods. They are real sharp with the rear lowered which is cheap to do and a 180 rear tire. To me they have a nice stretched look to them. Only thing is seat choices can be limited , no quick disconnect for the sissy bars. Good luck with your decision, I don't think you can go wrong a deuce.

I got my Low Rider because it most resembled, handling and feel wise, my Sporster. The Low Rider just felt natural to me, especially since I like mid mount controls and a narrow front end.

How much of a difference is the in the ride between a softail standard and a duece? I am in the same situation, moving from a sportster. I am leaning towards tha standard and then modding it to my liking.

Is the coastline included with the Deuce? I may have to trade.

Thanks Guys
The money situation will be more or less ok when I get off my boat. If not it will be toward september or so.
Anyway, I like my sporty, she out handles all by buddys BIG bikes, and light to light she is quick as heck. Its not that I don't like her, it is just that I would like a larger HD. When We hit the parkway or the L.I.E. love to have both, but $$$$$$$$$.
Hey Rooster
Man that is a ugly Bike. I'll do you a favor, you can hide it in my garage. OH yea I promise Not to add any miles to it. Well not many more.
Ok less than a few hundered a week.
Thanks guys
Vinnie
